Ciao! is a set of 24 blocks teaching kids, or really anyone, how to say hello and goodbye in 24 different languages. The name Ciao was chosen as it is a universal way to say Hello and is said in many different countries. These blocks include languages from all over the world, so the box is made to look like a travel suitcase with stickers on it referencing the cities within which the 24 languages are spoken. Each block says the name of the language, how to say hello and goodbye, and the other sides have simple graphics or patterns on it that represent each culture that primarily uses the language. The colors are drawn from muted browns that one would see on a suitcase, mixed with bright pastel colors to represent the richness of culture. Not only are they fun to interact with, anyone can easily learn something new.
